- Can a domain booked by mistake with an error in its name be allowed to delete it and if yes than will the user of the domain get money back?
Any domain once booked & confirmed can not be deleted. Hence their will be no refund in such cases. We always push our clients to exercise utmost caution while booking a domain.
- Is domain charge same as web hosting service?
No. Domain name registration is just a process to booking the name over the World Wide Web. Web hosting service is different services and their charges are separate from domain name booking.
- How do I renew my domains?
For renew your domain, you will be notified one month prior to your domain name expiration date. You will also get the final notification on the day of domain expiration.
To renew your domain name and services, you must first log into your domain control account with your credentials and select your domain name which you want to renew and process the order.
- What happens if I don't renew my domain name?
After the domain name expiration, the registered domain name will be deactivated from the name servers (DNS) and associated services like email, website, URL forwarding and others will not work.
For specific registries, more or less 30 days after the domain name expiry it will go into a recovery/ redemption period for roughly 30 days. To restore from redemption period, you may have to pay the restoration charges of $100 USD which includes an one year renewal of domain name.
